Hodgkin lymphoma (HL), known also as Hodgkin's disease, is a blood cancer affecting the lymphatic system, characterized by abnormal white blood cells (lymphocytes) and the presence of unique Reed-Sternberg cells, often starting as painless swollen lymph nodes in the neck, chest, or groin, with other symptoms like fever, night sweats, and weight loss.  It's highly curable, typically treated with chemotherapy and/or radiation, and is distinct from non-Hodgkin lymphoma
