Salt Cave
A salt cave is a calming space where the walls and floors are lined with Himalayan salt, creating a serene environment designed for deep relaxation. During the session, halotherapy gently disperses microscopic salt particles into the air, which may help support respiratory health, soothe the skin, and promote easier breathing while you rest in a peaceful setting. Salt has also long been valued in many traditions for its cleansing and grounding qualities, offering a space where people can relax, reset their energy, and step away from the stress of daily life.
40 minutes in bliss
A salt cave session is a deeply relaxing experience where guests settle into comfortable zero-gravity recliners while microscopic salt particles are gently dispersed into the air through halotherapy. Guests listen to calming music through headphones, rest with a warm lavender-scented eye pillow, and hold a small Shungite mat on the chest or lap to add a grounding element to the session.
It is recommended to expose as much skin as comfortably possible to benefit from the salt-rich environment, while wearing modest attire since the cave is a shared space that accommodates up to eight guests.

The History of Halotherapy
In the 12th century, the practice of visiting salt caves for therapeutic reasons, or speleotherapy, was common in Eastern Europe. In the 1800s, salt miners in Poland found a more modern version of what’s now halotherapy. Despite working in mines all day, the Polish miners didn’t have any respiratory conditions and were unusually healthy. They weren’t likely to get the colds or coughs that were common among other people.
Research showed that the salty air the miners breathed helped keep their lungs free from infection and allergies. Over time, Eastern European salt mines or caves became popular tourist destinations. People from all over the world visited to inhale the salty air and ease their lung problems.
Dry methods
The dry method of halotherapy is usually done in a man-made “salt cave” that is an average of 35 to 40% humidity or less. The temperature is warm, set to an average 75°F during cooler months and under 70°F during warmer months. Our sessions are on average 40 minutes.
A device called a halogenerator grinds salt into microscopic particles and releases them into the air of the room. Once inhaled, these salt particles are claimed to absorb irritants, including allergens and toxins, from the respiratory system. Advocates say this process breaks up mucus and reduces inflammation, resulting in clear airways.
The salt particles are said to have a similar effect on your skin by absorbing bacteria and other impurities responsible for many skin conditions.
Salt is also said to produce negative ions. This theoretically causes your body to release more serotonin, one of the chemicals behind feelings of happiness. Many people use Himalayan salt lamps to get the benefits of negative ions at home. However, there’s no evidence that these lamps have any benefit other than adding ambience.
