Collection: Hernia

A hernia occurs when an internal organ or fatty tissue pushes through a weak spot or hole in the surrounding muscle or connective tissue, often creating a bulge, especially in the abdomen or groin, and can cause pain or pressure, particularly with straining.  Common types include inguinal (groin) and hiatal (stomach through diaphragm), and while many are harmless, they can become serious if the tissue gets trapped (incarcerated) or loses blood supply (strangulated), requiring emergency surgery. Causes include strain, injury, prior surgery, or congenital defects, with treatment often involving surgical repair to close the opening.

These are some suggested stones that may help with the condition as well as suggested services that we offer to look into.
